My Personal Testimony of my Experience of Christ, B.W.

I was raised in the Southern Baptist denomination where I received Christ as my Savior at 7 years of age through the gospel preaching of my Royal Ambassador group leader. My salvation experience was so dynamic that from that day in 1950 until now in 1999, I have never doubted my salvation experience.

In 1973 I was introduced to the writings of Watchman Nee through the book The Release of the Spirit. That book showed me the tripartite nature of man and the fact that each man has a spirit. I was encouraged by my reading to gather other titles by Watchman Nee. I read a good number of books and realized my growth rate in the knowledge of living by Christ was increasing as never before. Everything I read by Watchman Nee led me to a new realization and experience of Christ. In 1975 I found a group of people in Eugene, Oregon, who met according to the revelation ministered by Watchman Nee and carried on by Witness Lee. Meeting with the church in Eugene, I began to enjoy teachings of Witness Lee from the book of Genesis in the form of Life-Study messages.

For the last 24 years, I have been taken through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation by the ministry of these two stewards of God. Always in these studies and fellowship I have been led to Christ and urged to know Him, to love Him above everything else. Today I love my Savior more than ever before. May you also grow to love Him.
